Working as part of the TLG centre team in Lewisham, the Classroom Teacher post provides a unique opportunity to support young people experiencing educational crisis.

TLG Lewisham is a centre for alternative education provision delivering tailored social and educational interventions for young people. Working in partnership with ecclesia, the Classroom Teacher will play an integral role in enabling young people to get their lives back on track, through delivering innovative programmes, and working with the Centre Manager to ensure that the education centre achieves success.

The role involves assistance with the planning and delivery of lessons, leading sessions as timetabled and providing one-to-one support as appropriate to bring excellence to the young people’s learning experience.  The individual will also act as a link between TLG’s students, their families and the church community.

We are looking to recruit an individual with a strong and vibrant Christian faith. Croydon Centre Manager

TLG is looking for a qualified teacher with a passion to turn around the lives of disaffected young people aged 12-16. Leading our TLG Croydon Centre (alternative provision), the Centre Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional educational programmes with imaginative curricula for disaffected young people, with proven skills and strategies to re-engage those on the verge of exclusion.

Working in partnership with Trinity Baptist Church in Croydon and a number of other key stakeholders, the successful applicant will need to develop and maintain excellent links in South London with schools, parents, referrers, and other agencies.

The successful candidate will have excellent team and communication skills and a successful track record in leadership and management, as well as a strong and vibrant Christian faith. Key Supporter Relationship Manager

As part of the National Development team, the Key Supporter Relationship Manager will work to inspire new relationships with donors and lead existing key supporters into greater involvement and giving to TLG. You’ll bring vital leadership to develop opportunities we’ve never explored before. You will play a lead role in bringing the necessary income to support our significant growth as we look to reach as many struggling children as possible across the UK.

This is a really exciting role to pioneer and you will be tasked with building a relationship pipeline, with the freedom to develop new ways to engage and steward potential donors. By networking, attending events, hosting guests at fundraising dinners, calling supporters, building relationships and asking donors to support specific projects, you will inspire new support, build on existing relationships and increase income that is vital for our future expansion.

We are looking for someone who is highly driven, tenacious and able to inspire confidence in others. You will have experience of relationship management and the skills required in persuading, negotiating and communicating with people from a wide range of backgrounds. You may already have a proven track record of success in a fundraising environment and be ready for a new challenge that offers more scope and potential. Alternatively, you may not have worked in fundraising or even the charity sector before but have some transferable skills that can make a real difference. Either way, it’s an exciting time to join the organisation and help shape the future of TLG.

We are looking for an events coordinator who is highly organised, energetic, proactive, efficient, driven and determined, to join our team in this key role within TLG!

You may be an experienced events coordinator or have worked in a field with transferable skills – either way you will need to demonstrate that you would be able to quickly pick up this vital role!

As part of the Supporter Development team, you will support various events, all with the aim of growing the number of supporters who give to and participate in the work of TLG. Events include a range of fundraising dinners, exhibitions, cafés, etc.

Whether it’s through the public events such as fundraising dinners and Christian festivals or internal events for our staff and volunteer team to engage in, you will deliver exemplary event coordination and leadership.  

You will be passionate about excellence, understand how to influence staff, volunteers and supporters to be involved and will ensure that the opportunities posed by our events are maximised.

You will be joining our rapidly growing team at a pivotal point in TLG’s growth and will need to be self-driven and up for a challenge! At the same time, you will be joining a supportive team who are passionate about giving hope and a future to children and their families by increasing the supporter participation that underpins TLG’s mission!
